What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
If you contact us through any of the contact forms found on this site, we collect only the data shown in that contact form. We may respond to what you have contacted us for but we do not use your data for marketing purposes. Contact forms on this site are only for inquiries and questions regarding our content or questions about a specific issues that our content covers.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

We collect emails using third part services which will be mentioned below.
We offer a free download, which you will receive immediately, in exchange of your email address. Now that you have received your free download, you are now subscribed to our mailing list, which means you will receive articles updates, promotions and sale emails, and general updates regarding the blog and the content. By offering your email, you agree to both, receiving the free download and the regular updates and promotional emails. Note that some forms may have options that you can select from. In that case, you subscribe to what you have selected.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track our page views and get more details about our traffic. To track traffic, Google Analytics uses cookies. We also use Jetpack By WordPress.com plugin to collect data about the page views and the sources from which our traffic come. Jetpack uses cookies as described here. Jetbaack is owned by Automattic, thus the way they use your data is found on Automattic’s privacy policy page.

Who we share your data with
- MailChimp: we use MailChimp to collect emails. They get access to your name, email, and the IP number you used when you opted in. This is MailChimp’s privacy policy.
- Hello Bar: we use Hello Bar to collect emails also. They sync all the emails and names they collect to MailChimp. They play as a third party in collecting emails and syncing them to MailChimp. The data they collect is stored in our account and we have access to it. Hello Bar also collects data about impressions. This is Hello Bar’s privacy policy.
- Optin Cat: a third party WordPress plugin that collects emails and names and sync them to MailChimp. It also collects data about impressions.
- Name Cheap: our hosting provider. This is Name Cheap’s privacy policy.
- GumRoad: we use GumRoad to handle our sales processes. All your payment data will be stored and processed by them. This payment data is not shared with us. What is shared with us, however, is how many times our product is viewed and your name and email in case you have purchased for further marketing purposes and/or follow ups. This is GumRoad’s privacy policy.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Email addresses and names are retained until you choose to unsubscribe.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
